An eminent jury conferred the “Corporate Excellence in Decarbonisation” award to A.T.E. under the MSME category at the CoOL Conclave 2025. A.T.E. has been recognised for efforts in developing green offices, practices and path breaking products contributing to reducing carbon emissions and advancing decarbonisation goals within the HVAC&R industry and built environment
This award was judged on five key pillars:
- Impact in reducing carbon emissions within HVAC&R and the built environment
- Innovation in breakthrough decarbonisation strategies or solutions
- Scalability for wider adoption
- Sustainability through lasting results and resilience
- Leadership in championing initiatives, partnerships, and stakeholder engagement

This recognition reflects our long-standing commitment to sustainability and climate action. In addition to innovative cooling products, A.T.E. has many green solutions – for wastewater treatment and sludge management, IoT for sustainability, ink management and inspection systems for the packaging industry.
Over the years, we have implemented a comprehensive set of initiatives towards sustainability, including:
- Evaporative cooling systems at our manufacturing sites, reducing CO₂ emissions while maintaining indoor comfort without harmful refrigerants
- Solar PV systems across facilities at Ahmedabad, Pune and Coimbatore, supplemented by green power
- Rainwater harvesting systems at major sites, enabling the collection and reuse of millions of litres of water annually and groundwater recharging
- LEED Gold certified green buildings in Ahmedabad & Pune, designed for energy efficiency and healthier indoor environments
- Carbon offsetting with reforestation of 1800 acres of degraded forests in the Western Ghats
- Sustainable material use, including the replacement of jungle wood in packaging with plywood and corrugated board, and ensuring responsible waste recycling.
